Warranty terms

The lighting fixtures produced by LABRA are covered by a warranty from the date of issuing the receipt/VAT invoice:
Fixtures with integrated LED source - 60 MONTHS (5 years)
Fixtures without integrated sources for replaceable bulbs - 24 MONTHS (2 years)
The installation and use of the fixture should be in accordance with its intended purpose and the installation/user manual.
The warranty covers only hidden defects in the product arising during the production process and revealed during use. Defects covered under the warranty include material, paint coating, or assembly of components.
The warranty does not cover wear and tear resulting from use and normal wear and tear, as well as damages caused by:
- Improper transport or storage,
- Incorrect installation, use, or maintenance,
- Incorrect power supply (e.g., incorrect connection, faulty electrical installation, power surges in the power grid, voltage drops, and other random events),
- Modifications and structural changes or repairs carried out by unauthorized persons,
- Use of fixtures at ambient temperatures above +25°C.
- The warranty does not cover elements that normally wear out during use, such as traditional light sources, joints, sliding pads, clasps, internal paint surface, clasps mounting places, etc.

In case of damage (destruction) of the product upon delivery and a complaint resulting from damage during transport, the conditions of the transport service complaint apply, appropriate for the carrier company. The buyer is obliged to conduct a detailed check of the delivery each time. If the transport protection of the product shows any signs of violation, or if there is any lack or damage to the goods, the buyer must make a note about the type of damage on the shipping list and request the preparation of a damage report.

LABRA Sp. z o.o. is not responsible for indirect or direct losses (e.g., installation costs, disassembly, etc.) caused by the revelation of a product defect, limiting its liability solely to the Product itself.

The warranty expires if any changes are made to the fixture or system, non-original substitutes are used, or repairs are carried out by unauthorized persons, unless the intervention has been agreed upon with the Manufacturer, and an agreement has been signed in this regard. The warranty also expires when the warranty seal is broken or unreadable.

The condition for considering a complaint is the settlement of the due amount for the advertised goods. Complaints are accepted only based on a correctly filled out "COMPLAINT NOTIFICATION" form along with a proof of purchase in the form of a copy of the invoice, confirming the date of purchase of the advertised goods, and the data of the person making the complaint.

The completed "COMPLAINT NOTIFICATION" form should be sent together with the advertised goods to the address: LABRA Sp. z o.o., Olszyny, ul. Koszykarska 4, 32-551 Babice or in electronic form to the e-mail address: biuro@labra.pl.

The advertised goods must be packaged to avoid the risk of damage during transport. It is required to pack the product in a separate packaging/box for each product and a second collective/transport packaging, even when sending a single luminaire. The luminaire must be packed in a material that protects against rubbing against the box; the manufacturer recommends layer bubble wrap, soft foam, sponge, or similar materials with sufficient protective capabilities.

The Advertiser is responsible for the proper packaging of the advertised product. The advertised product must have a legible, undamaged VOID label with the production date.

Only the Buyer is entitled to a complaint. If the defect is detected by another person, then the complaint is made through the Buyer from whom the defective product was purchased. The Buyer is obliged to provide all information necessary to consider the complaint, as requested by LABRA (e.g., regarding the operation of the product, the way the fault occurred, etc.)

The advertised products are delivered to LABRA at the expense of the complainant. In the event of the need for representatives of LABRA to come to the claimant and their recognition of the purpose of the visit as inconsistent with the conditions of the LABRA warranty, the complainant will be charged with the costs of travel, accommodation, etc.

The method of considering a justified complaint is determined by LABRA, assessing the type of defect. Ways to handle complaints include: product repair, replacement of the product with a new one, refund of the amount paid for the goods by the Buyer, or compensation in the form of a reduction in the price of the product.

LABRA will inform the buyer about the method and time of processing the complaint within 14 working days from the date of its receipt. In special cases, the time for processing a complaint may be extended, of which the complainant will be promptly informed.

Luminaire user manual

The installation of luminaires must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the installation instructions and local safety requirements for lighting fixtures. It is prohibited to install the luminaire if any damage to the mounting or electrical components is detected, as it may pose a risk to human health and life. Installation, disassembly, maintenance inspections, or any kind of repairs related to the luminaire can only be performed by individuals with the necessary qualifications, and familiarity with this instruction is also essential. The manufacturer recommends the use of protective gloves during luminaire installation. All work on the luminaire must be carried out with the power disconnected. This applies to every instance of cleaning the luminaire, changing the light source, or inspecting the luminaire. Each time, it is necessary to check the luminaire and light source mountings. It is prohibited to install light sources in the luminaire with a power rating different (higher) than indicated on the luminaire. Failure to comply with this recommendation may result in damage or destruction of the luminaire and even pose a threat to the electrical installation or human health and life. Prohibited actions include:

- In LED luminaires - touching the LED diode surface
- In LED luminaires - staring directly at the shining LED diode
- Approaching the LED diode with materials listed in the LED operating instructions
- In LED luminaires - using power supplies other than those supplied by the manufacturer
- Using luminaires with power parameters other than those indicated on the nameplate
- Using luminaires in an environment not consistent with their purpose (see IPxx degree of protection marking)
- Placing luminaires at a shorter distance from any object than recommended by the luminaire or light source manufacturer.
- Covering recessed/ceiling luminaires in any way with any material.
- Using luminaires at an ambient temperature higher than +25°C and lower than 0°C
- Using luminaires in conditions that may damage electronic systems, paint coating, luminaire construction (high temperature, high humidity, shocks, vibrations, electromagnetic fields, high UV radiation, chemically aggressive substances - salts, acids, bases, chlorine, dust)
- Loading luminaires with any additional elements

Painted surfaces and PMMA and PC (plexi) lenses should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth, and commonly used chemically neutral agents can be applied (agents that may scratch the paint surface, such as the well-known 'CIF,' should not be used). Before cleaning the luminaire, it must be switched off and allowed to cool to room temperature. Reflectors and mirrors should be cleaned with clean compressed air. In the case of luminaires with a halogen light source, special attention should be paid to the installation location - it should be properly selected due to the high temperature generated by the light sources, causing the luminaire elements to heat up. After the period of use, the luminaire should not be discarded; it should be taken to a disposal point or returned to the manufacturer, following the Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 January 2003 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). This instruction should be kept.
